Pumpkin powder
Use for anything you want to give a pumpkin flavor to, without the excess moisture.
- 2 15 oz cans Pure pumpkin Not pumpkin pie mix
Set temperature to 125°
Line cookie sheet (if using oven) or dehydrator trays with parchment paper.
Evenly spread pumpkin thinly on parchment paper. Place in oven about 6 hours or until dried out.
Break apart dried pumpkin and put in spice grinder or food processor and grind to a fine powder. When ground, sift to separate from any bigger chuncks. Put bigger chunks back and grind again. Store in airtight jar.
