Lemon Basil Baked fish
This recipe works well for most white fish. Lemon, basil, garlic, butter, olive oil and salt elevate this from a simple salt and pepper recipe without complicating it.

- 5-6 White fish fillets Such as swordfish, whiting, halibut, tilapia,ect.
- ¼ Cup Basil Finely chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic Finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp Butter Melted
- 2 Tbsp Olive oil
- ½ Lemon Juice and zest
- Kosher Salt to taste
Preheat oven to 450°
Finely dice basil and garlic. Place in small bowl.
Add oils, lemon, and salt to basil and garlic and mix well.
With a pastry brush, brush lemon basil oil on top of fish and place skin down on lightly oiled sheet pan. Bake about 10 minutes or until done (test with fork and if begins to flake, it is ready).
