This is a great way to get the natural flavor of pumpkin without all the extra moisture that certain recipes don’t need. It is great for use in granola, adding flavor to coffee beverages, cookies, and more. plus, it will last for months.

Equipment
- Food dehydrator or electric oven
Ingredients
- 2 15 oz cans Pure pumpkin Not pumpkin pie mix
Instructions
- Set temperature to 125°
- Line cookie sheet (if using oven) or dehydrator trays with parchment paper.
- Evenly spread pumpkin thinly on parchment paper. Place in oven about 6 hours or until dried out.
- Break apart dried pumpkin and put in spice grinder or food processor and grind to a fine powder. When ground, sift to separate from any bigger chuncks. Put bigger chunks back and grind again. Store in airtight jar.
