Ginger Cinnamon Poached Pear
No ovens here! This impressive yet easy to make dessert is especially great if you don’t care much for baking. it can be made a day in advance (which I recommend), and because this isn’t an exact science like baking a cake, you can make small adjustments according to your liking. Because it is fruit, it is light yet the sauce gives it a little richness. I put butter as an optional choice simply because it is what adds the richness to the sauce, but if you would rather not have the butter, it is still a very enjoyable treat!
