5 Spice Fudge Cookies
Fudgy, crazy good with fiber and all kinds of healthy fats and nutrients. Yes, this is a healthier type of cookie, but its also a yummy indulgence. Chinese 5 spice is added to take this to a whole new level.
5 Spice Fudge Cookie
This cookie is all kinds of crazy good. Fudgy, nutty, with Chinese 5 spice. Oh, did I mention all kinds of healthy going on here? Remember, everything in moderation, as it is also an indulgence!
Ingredients
- ⅔ Cup Almond Flour
- ⅓ Cup Oat Flour
- ½ Cup Maple syup
- ½ Cup Walnuts Diced
- 1 Tsp Chinese 5 spice
- ½ Cup Hemp hearts
- ¼ Cup Gluten free oats
- 2 Tbsp Cocoa powder
- 2 Tbsp Cacao Nibs crushed
- 1½ Tsp Vanilla
- ⅛ Tsp Kosher salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°f and lightly grease cookie sheet.
- Grind or crush the cacao nibs until they begin to soften and the oils begin to release and set aside.
- Mix well all the dry ingredients including the crushed nibs.
- In separate bowl, mix the maple syrup and vanilla and add to the dry ingredients. If dough does not completely bind together, wet hands and mix dough.
- Measure out cookies using a heaping tablespoon for each cookie and roll into about 12 balls and place onto cookie sheet. To keep dough from sticking to hands, occasionally wet hands with cold water.
- Flatten out cookies lightly and place in oven. Bake for 10 minutes.
