Swiss Chard With Apples

Swiss Chard With Apples

I didn’t grow up with Swiss chard as a part of my childhood. As a matter of fact, I went most of my adult life never even having heard of it, let alone tasting it. Just a few years back, having worked at a restraunt that specialized in salads, I was introduced to many vegetables I never tasted growing up. Swiss chard was one of them. When I realized how nutrient dense it is, boasting high fiber, heart healthy, and high in antioxidants (among other benefits), and as I’m always looking for the next healthy thing, I thought I’d give it a go and try it. I can’t say in all honesty that it was love at first taste, but, there was something I liked about it that made me want to try it again. And again. Now I really enjoy it. Now I’d like to share with you one of my favorite Swiss chard recipes…
